Australia blacklists stolen cellphones and so should other carriers
All cellphones, not only the high-end smartphone, should be blacklisted everywhere as the Aussies do with their stolen phones. This should also be done with all computers, televisions, cameras, etc. The technology is there, or easily adaptable to other devices, so something to disable stolen property and/or report its location when hooked up to the web should be mandatory.
Just a question- what if a phone is blacklisted, but it wasn’t actually stolen- Is there an undo button or is once it’s blacklisted, too bad so sad?
